narrative podcasts with something to say.
Good Judy Productions is a Minneapolis, Minnesota-based podcast production company from Chris Stedman, the creator, writer, host, and executive producer of the critically-acclaimed narrative series Unread.
at good judy, we believe in the power of narrative podcasts to move people
and shift culture.
We are committed to telling stories that, in the words of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, take the “view from below,” or “the perspective of the outcasts, the suspects, the maltreated, the powerless, the oppressed and reviled, in short from the perspective of the suffering.” We also think efficient storytelling is impactful storytelling. We don’t believe in stretching out a series unnecessarily. In other words, “in short” is our guiding philosophy, and our series will only linger as long as they need to. (Unread was just four episodes long.)
